Knowledge from Monitoring

INDYMO is a research driven company that works in the field of the management of water resources and water quality. Our focus is on innovative ways of monitoring water quality and ecology using underwater drones (dynamic monitoring) equipped with water quality sensors and a video cameras. Until now we successfully deployed underwater drones in multiple projects in The Netherlands and abroad . We continuously work to develop solutions and improve our tools to collect high resolution spatial data suitable for various uses and applications in the field of water. Founded in 2015, Indymo has over 10 years of experience in applications of underwater drones in the water sector. Indymo has also developed several prototypes and vehicles that are able to perform autonomous tasks and complex inspection and monitoring tasks.

Watersystems are critical to human and ecological survival. With climate change and urban development, these systems are changing faster than ever. Therefore, there is an urgency of better and dynamic monitoring methods and technologies.

Hanze University of Applied Sciences is the largest University of applied sciences in the northern Netherlands, and is located in Groningen. Hanze UAS offers various Bachelor and Master programmes in Dutch, English, and German, and works closely with international partner institutes. Ecoton works on participatory and integrated water management and eco-restoration in the Brantas basin, in Indonesia. Pupils, students, villagers and businesses along the river are involved in monitoring the water quality, cleaning the river and ensuring that the local government takes its responsibility to keep the river clean.

Condast is dedicated in consultancy and development of intelligent software solutions for industrial and laboratory equipment. Focal points are artificial intelligence, solutions for computational extensive data analysis and design of intelligent algorithms, for instance for data mining and predictive analysis. Condast's expertise combines the best of electronics and embedded systems with machine learning, serious gaming and user interaction. 

Delft University of Technology (TU Delft) is the largest and oldest Dutch public technological university and is located in Delft, The Netherlands. It is one of the best universities for engineering and technology worldwide. The Water Management Department and Water Eesources research group focuses on drought, precipitation, floods and how water behaves in the atmosphere and beneath or on the Earth's surface.

In 2017 Van Dijk Aquatic Technologies BV was founded by dr.ir. Ronald van Dijk. The company is involved in aquatic-related innovations. One of them is the universal aquatic drone UAD-UNI 1.0 that can be used for underwater exploration, investigation and monitoring.  T

VHL links education, applied research and the professional field. Applied research as conducted by professors, researchers, lecturers and students of Van Hall Larenstein University of Applied Sciences, is always aimed at improving professional practice. The results of research should be applicable for companies and professionals in the public sector.

Tauw is an independent European consulting and engineering company specialised in the design, improvement and management of the natural environment, built-up environment and infrastructure.

Climate scan is an interactive web-based map application for international knowledge exchange on 'blue-green' projects around the globe. It focuses mainly on the topics surrounding the areas of urban resilience, climate proofing and climate adaptation.

Climatescan.nl has proven to be a successful instrument with over 5000 international projects in the area of climate adaptation. The tool is used in various international workshops and projects and meets the demands of various stakeholders.

The Valorisation Programme Delta Technology & Water TU Delft is associated with the regional development company Innovation Quarter. They work in establishing partnership with various members of the delta cluster, and offer support and network opportunities for multiple startup and business with impact on water sustainability.

NESTABIDE - Follow iNterdisciplinarity for Environment, Society & Technology is a 'translational engineering-based consultancy firm. With an interdisciplinary team, Nestabide offers sustainable solutions & services, currently focussing on flood resistant and resilient projects and water conservation activities through a unique translational perspective. 

RDM Campus and Hogeschool Rotterdam provide a cutting-edge environment which allows students and businesses to find each other in working towards sustainable technical innovations, in the field maritime, process technology, energy, logistics, mobility and construction engineering. The RDM Campus is a collaboration between the Albeda College, Hogeschool Rotterdam and the Port of Rotterdam.
